Nothing Much New Here…
I'm busy this weekend writing a paper for school, and trying to get done with all the "have-to's" so I can relax and do nothing tomorrow.
In other news, Ian has learned how to make a smacking noise when he kisses, so we've been busy practicing that over and over again.
Dude…What’s in These Brownies?

The article says Dallas, but it is actually Ft. Worth. This high school is about 3 minutes from my house. I know it is supposed to be a serious felony-type thing, but I can't stop laughing every time I read about this story.
Weekend Update
Ian is at Ryan's Mom's house this weekend. We dropped him off late last night and we'll get him back tomorrow evening. I'm enjoying the time to myself, but I miss him like crazy.
Ryan got rear-ended yesterday afternoon. Thankfully, he is fine, but now we have to mess with getting the other guy's insurance to fix our car. What a hassle!
We're about to watch Legend (one of my all time favorite movies) and eat chinese food, then go out to play poker with friends later tonight.
I'm still sick, but getting better each day. Now I am sleeping through most of the night without waking up to cough. So that's a good sign.
I'm in my second week of class now for my college course. I have a 100% average so far. Our first project is due next week, so wish me luck!
My Dad went on a Patriot Guard Riders mission this week. I'm so proud of him.

Quick Update
Quick update because I'm tired-
1. We went to a Ft. Worth Cats Minor League baseball game last night. We had awesome seats (one of Ryan's customers at work gave them to him) and we had a great time.
2. I'm sick.
I have a fever and a sore throat. It sucks.
3. We went to a birthday party for one of Ian's friends today. It was at McDonald's and he had a fantastic time. I'm seriously considering having his party there- it would avoid the prospect of having 15 toddlers in my living room.
4. Tomorrow is Mother's Day! I'm planning to do as little as possible.

Fish Stories
We're back! We had a great time.
- The weather was absolutely perfect- rain in the evening and cloudy throughout the day. The high temperature both days was somewhere in the high 60s.
- Ryan caught 1 fish, I didn't catch any.
- Ian caught 1 perch (too small to keep), 1 bluegill (too small to keep) and a humongous catfish! The catfish was the weirdest thing- we didn't even see the cork go under.. I just noticed that it was missing and we figured it was under the boat. We told Ian to reel it in and he seemed very confused by the fact that he couldn't. Ryan took over for him and found a 2 foot catfish on the end of the line!
- Ian will tell you that the fish he caught was "THIIIIIIIS BIG", with his arms stretched straight out. It's really cute.
- I took vacation today and worked all day on bills, laundry, etc. I'm ready for a real day off now!
We’re Going Fishing!
I'm headed out to Lake Fork to do some fishing. I'll be back late Sunday night!
